Be Counted!
Census Day, April 1, is fast approaching! It is critical to make sure every member of our community is counted. In ten minutes, you can help secure funding to support economic development, community services, education, health care, and housing. In the 2000 census, almost 16 million people went uncounted. Let's make sure to tell all our family members and friends to fill out their census forms and mail them back!
- You should have already received a Census form in the mail along with a reminder.
- By early April: *If your household has not returned its survey, you may receive a replacement;
- After April 15, Census takers will visit households that do not mail back a questionnaire to take a count in person.
- About the form: * It comes to your address ("Resident") not in your name; answer the 10 basic questions for *all* those living in your household.
