Meet Our Staff: Aly Fitzpatrick
Aly Fitzpatrick was born and raised in Taylor, Michigan. Aly moved to Lansing, MI to complete her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Michigan State University. What started as the desire to have a career in nursing, quickly turned into a passion for helping people in all aspects of their lives. Since graduating from Michigan State University, Aly has worked for Western Wayne Family Health Centers assisting with their substance abuse treatment program, Centria Autism Services, and is currently a Foster Care Specialist for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Aly is completing her Master of Social Work at Wayne State University.
Through her internship with Asian Pacific Islander American Vote MI, Aly hopes to bring empathy and awareness to those in the community through various networks. She also hopes to learn more about the diversity, inclusion, and the needs of immigrants and minorities to bring about positive changes, new interventions, and inclusive services.
In her free time, Aly enjoys paddle boarding, cooking, group sports, and traveling.
